The 26-year-old young chef was born and raised in Martell Valley. After attending the “Kaiserhof” hotel management school in Merano, his career in the world of cooking and creation began.
His journey began as an apprentice in Corviglia in St. Moritz, in the “Mathis Food Affairs” restaurant. Back to South Tyrol under the direction of Albin Widmann, Daniel expanded his knowledge in the Romantik Art Hotel Capella in Corvara and in the Seehotel Ambach in Kaltern.
He has also expanded his horizons and inspirations in the “Talvo by Dalsass” restaurant in St. Moritz, the “Ikarus-Hangar 7” restaurant in Salzburg and the Einhorn restaurant in Mauls.
Daniel brought love to Val Gardena, as head chef he spent the winter season in the Costamula restaurant.
